What is required to be a Ferguson Plarre franchise owner?

Do I need to work in the store?

Yes. The most effective method is to be present as much as possible. We suggest approximately 50+ hours per week in the initial stages. It is also beneficial for the Franchisee to be within close proximity to their store/s (20 mins drive). Ferguson Plarre Bakehouses Franchise is a 7 day a week business. The most successful owners manage their store as an active participant in the daily operations.

What is included in the investment?

Included in your purchase amount is the store set-up & design, training, product credit line, equipment (i.e. pie warmer, fridges etc), deposit, local marketing & administration. The store is ready for you to walk into & run (turn-key solution).

The investment amount will be dependent on many variables including the size of shop (i.e. kiosk, walk in store), design, conditions etc.  Hence, new stores range estimate is from $150k - $300k.

Do I need to be a baker?

No. We deliver the product each morning to your store from our Bakehouse.

Can I purchase a franchise with a business partner?

Yes. Many of our current Franchisees are partners. This system often works well in running a 7 day a week business.

Is it possible to own several Ferguson Plarre Bakehouses locations?
