Family Quiche Lorraine
Free range eggs, cream & cheese quiche filling with diced bacon.
Quiche became popular in England sometime after WWII, and in the USA during the 1950's. Today, there are many varieties of quiche. The original Quiche Lorraine was an open pie with a filling comprising an egg and cream custard with smoked bacon. It was only later that cheese was added to the quiche Lorraine.
